Come on out for the annual Navy Birthday 5K Run/Walk on the Historic Fort Sam Houston. Note this is on a military installation and you must be a DoD ID card holder or have access to Fort Sam Houston to participate. The 5K course will start and finish at the Outdoor Aquatic Center 3548 Williams Rd BLDG 330. Parking is available in the parking lot at the front of the Outdoor Aquatic Center and in the large parking lot across the street. Race day registration and packet pick up will be from 7:00 – 8:15 am, Saturday 26 September near the race start. Start times will be: Run 8:30 and Walk 8:32. All participants who register by 20 September 2015 will receive a commemorative run shirt. There will be age group awards for 1st and 2nd M/F runners. This event is sponsored by a private organization, 2015 Navy Birthday Ball Committee. It is not a part of the Department of Defense or any of its components and has no governmental status.
