The Red Ribbon 5K Run & Family 1 mile Run/Walk will kick off the 2013 Red Ribbon Week celebration (October 20-25). The Family 1 mile Run/Walk (for children up to 12 years of age and their families) will start at 8:00am; the 5K wheelchair division will start at 8:25am; all other 5K Run divisions will start at 8:30am
The 5K run is on a flat and fast course within Five-Mile Dam Park and the blanco Vista neighborhood. The 1-mile family run/walk is on a paved trail within the park.
The Family 1-Mile Run/Walk is a FREE non-competitive event; pre-registration is not required.
