Gates will open for the 2019 CleftStrong Family 5k at 7:30 am on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Los Patios in support of those born with cleft lip/palate and other craniofacial conditions. Share a fun morning with us along the Salado Creek Greenway trail and San Antonio's well known Los Patios tucked in the center of San Antonio! Racers will enjoy a serene, historic and natural course that will begin and end at Los Patios. This race is leashed pet, runner, walker, stroller, wheelchair, and family friendly!
The CleftStrong Kids Fun Run will begin at 9:00 a.m. All 5K and kid fun run participants will take home a finisher's medal and fun awards will be given to the adult and child participant with the best Disney character costume, the largest team, the creator of the highest fundraising team, and the largest virtual race team. Participants will find face painting, a purple carpet photo opportunity, a live DJ and more!
All proceeds raised benefit the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association's mission to advance patient care and research for individuals affected with cleft lip, palate and other craniofacial anomalies.
