The Ridge Marketplace is planning our 1st Annual Rock ‘N’ The Ridge 5K Fun run/walk; this event will be held at The Ridge Marketplace October 12, 2019 at 8 AM. The Run will loop through Tierra Linda Ranch and end at The Ridge followed by live music, booths offering local wine, beer, and food. All proceeds will benefit Breast Cancer Awareness at Peterson Health Foundation and Tierra Linda Volunteer Fire Department. Half of the monies raised will be contributed to the Peterson Health Foundation of Peterson Health to help assist women and men going through breast cancer treatment with the substantial non - covered medical expenses they encounter.
Tierra Linda Volunteer Fire Department is a 100% voluntary organization. While they are located on Tierra Linda Ranch, they are independent and not part of their Homeowners Association. They primarily rely on fundraising, donations and grants to support their emergency services efforts. Half of the Proceeds from this event will be specifically used to help replace aging firefighting equipment.
