Lead the Way 5K Run/Walk

The Young Women's Leadership Academy Foundation supports the Young Women's Leadership Academy (YWLA). Here at YWLA, we are building tomorrow's leaders and empowering young women to achieve their fullest potential through a rigorous college-prepatory education that is free of cost to the  students. We expect each graduate to enroll in a four-year university of college upon graduation and our studnets are provided a strong support network to ensure they continue their academic success at the university level. This year, the YWLA was named number one in the state of Texas for middle schools by the Houston based organization "Children at Risk".
