Cross Country 2018

About

Cross Country season is almost here!  Like you, this is one of our favorite times of year. We love the camaradie, the team work, and the competition of cross country.  Unlike any other sport, cross country really shows us how you can have a great event with intense competion, yet also show how competitors can also be friends.  It's a fun and exciting sport that has something for everyone.

Athlete Guild has been there every step of the way for many years now.  We have timed more events than all of our competitors combined and that has taught us a lot about the sport.  We have learned alot about what works and what doesn't.  We have made some missteps along the way with some of our technology choices, but we continue to strive to improve our ability to produce the best experience possible.  Timing is a hard business and takes experience to not only understand the technology used but the sport itself.  We are in position to make the experience the absolute best around for the competitors, coaches, and spectators.  It begins with our online registration and the ease of managing data, to building the team packets, to race day production with timing and our patented kiosk and patented bib chips, to providing post race results and athlete profiles.  We are now even providing an online leaderboard to highlight the runners.  Your students can now see how they rank against everyone else.  Our services go beyond race day to providing a complete experience.  We are striving to make the experience the absolute best that we can for everyone.

Beginning with this first newsletter, we are going to be bringing you our take on the sport and informing you of the events in our area.  As Athlete Guild is the largest timing company in the state, we are in a position to provide you with the most complete information around.  Our newsletter will give you the events that we are involved with as well as a leaderboard of the athletes.  We are really excited about what we can do.  Please let us know how we're doing and anything we can do to help improve the sport.  We look forward to seeing you all at this fall's events.
