The CB&I TRI - The Woodlands Triathlon is set to take place Saturday, April 30, 2016, at Northshore Park. As one of the premier multi-sport events in the region, CB&I TRI, produced by The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department, offers high-caliber competition, first-rate race management and a scenic course. The 2016 race will be a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event and will feature a field of more than 1,400 participants. Last year's participants ranged from beginners to nationally ranked triathletes.
This event has reached capacity and sold out registration in the past thirteen years, with the 2016 event selling out in 11 days! To be added to the Wait List, please email races@thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov with your name, date of birth and race category.
This event earned a Top 10 in the USAT South Midwest Region for Sprint Distance Triathlons in 2004 and was designated as the USAT South Midwest Region Sprint State Championships for 2007. The event culminates with a festive awards party featuring music, great food, beverages and door prizes.
