This event is THE most unique athletic challenge fundraising event anywhere in San Antonio! Where else can one run 1-mile followed by running the 952 steps to the top of the Tower of the Americas? Answer: only here and only at this once a year event!
What to expect? 1,500 individuals, volunteers, teams from across San Antonio and beyond running, climbing in this great event. Followed by our after party down at the base of the Tower, participants will celebrate with food, music, medals given to top place finishers, and some awesome bragging rights among those who conquered the Tower for all those living with cystic fibrosis.
Climbers can participate in the event in one of two ways:
COMPETITIVELY TIMED (each person runs 1 mile, wears a chip timed bib and races up to the top of the Tower to the Observation Deck/finish line and the chance to place in age and sex category) or NON-COMPETITIVELY NON-TIMED (no Bib and no 1 mile run before. Participants can climb at their own pace).

Participants under the age of 10 are not permitted to participate in the CF Tower Climb & Run. ALL minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Day of Registration: $150 – ($100 Registration Fee PLUS $50 Fundraising Minimum (Non-Competitive only – you will not be allowed to have a bib)
Minimum Fundraising Requirement: $50
Minimum Fundraising Requirement Policy: The minimum pledge requirement of $50 is due on or before event day. If you have met your minimum pledge by the day of the event, we encourage you to keep fundraising. Reach for the stars and earn great rewards and recognition. Even though the minimum is due by the day of the event, you have one month after the event to earn these rewards. The average amount a participant raises is $380. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable and do not count towards your fundraising minimum. Thank you for adding tomorrows for people with cystic fibrosis.
