In 2016 Clemens High School PIE Club members applied for and received a grant that they used to purchase fresh produce and chicken and provide packages of food to families in need as the Christmas and summer breaks began. With a desire to continue helping others, they came up with the Shining Lights 5K as a way to raise money to fund their efforts.
Join us for the Inaugural Shining Lights 5K run/walk and 1 mile kids fun run starting at the iconic Blue Bonnet Palace in Selma, TX. All proceeds benefit Positively Impacting Communities, Inc. (PIC) and PIE Club. Your participation will help teens continue to shine their light by helping others.
