Guadalupe Regional Medical Foundation is hosting the 8th annual Race 2 Raise, a 5K chip timed Run on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Seguin Brewing Company. We are excited to be building on the success of our 2018 downtown edition. With over 300 in attendance, including 250+ runners, you won't want to miss this event. This 5K will highlight downtown Seguin, including the Walnut Springs Trail and Park West. This year 100% of proceeds will benefit the Foundations' LifeSaver Grant Program which benefits the community! These funds are used to help assist GRMC departments with needs that have not been planned for in their budgets and directly impact the work GRMC does for the community. Over the past four years, the LifeSaver Grant has funded the following:
- Fall Prevention Program - Rehab Services
- Lucas CPR Machine - Emergency Department
- Blanket Warmer for Patients - Inpatient Rehab
- T-Piece Resuscitator for the Nursery - Birthing Center
- Smart Stat System - Staff Development
- Visual Health Patient Education Material - Inpatient Rehab
- New Educational Materials - TBC
- Heater Plates for Bipap Machines - Cardiopulmonary
- Fit3D ProScanner - Wellness Center
- Lippincott Solutions for Staff Education - Nursing Adiminstration
