San Marcos' first trail race on the beautiful Purgatory Trails cared for by the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance! Proceeds benefit the newly formed Running Club at Texas State University and to the maintenance and preservation of the San Marcos greenbelt and trail formation. The race begins on a wide gravel road and progresses into dirt single track - a relatively flat course with a low technical rating. This is the perfect introduction into trail running. Racers will receive a goodie bag with race shirt and handmade awards. Parking will be across the street near Subway/Mochas & Javas/CVS. Simply cross the street to approach the trail head.
