Race 1 of 4 in the Alamo Beer Series Challenge
This starts early Sunday morning in August at Alamo Brewery. The run course has been designed to allow runners to also become spectators. The 10k starts at 8am and they run a 5k course that comes back and goes right through the 5k runners that are waiting to start.
All runners will see the leaders of the 10k and can cheer them on as they pass through.
The 5k will start and follow the same route, it is unique the way we start the 5k so that there is minimal interference to the 10k runners, you have to see it to understand.
The course winds around and over it self using the famous Hays street bridge so that you can look down at runners that behind you and see your friends.
It does have one hill on the out and back portion of the course.
The after party is a the brewery. We have all the vendors that you have come to know and love.
