Kids can have great time at the H-E-B Alamo Run Fest too - even if we’re not timing them. The H-E-Buddy Kids Classic is a fun run for kids. A short-distance, non-competitive event for kids aged 12 and under. And they are the 'Main" event on Saturday, finishing INSIDE the Alamodome, adjacent to the Expo!!!
Imagine the look on your child’s face as they run into the Alamodome toward the Finish line at arena floor center! Our focus is on kids having fun and being a part of the healthy festivities, while enjoying the sport of running. Promoting healthy lifestyles to our children is a central mission of the H-E-B Alamo Run Fest!
All kids will run and/or walk a 1 kilometer distance (that’s 1094 yards). Check back in a few weeks for the other special activities for kids that will also be offered during the event around the finish line.
