The NEF 5K Run/Walk Benefits the Northside Education Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster community involvement in innovative educational programs by generating and disbursing funds and other resources to provide enrichment for Northside ISD students. |
| Schedule: | 7:30 AM - On-site Registration Begins 8:00 AM - Kids Fun Run (10 and under) (registration onsite only) 8:30 AM - 5K Race Start No Pets and No Bicycles. Strollers and Wagons are Ok. |
| Entry Fees: |
5K Timed Run 5K Non-Timed Run $50 Family Rate up to 6 people (Chip timing is an additional $5) Sleepwalker - Sleep in for the cause Kids Race A convenience fee will apply to all registrants who sign up online. |
| Goodies: | Your registration includes event, goodie bag items, post race refreshments, and access to 5K Sponsors and Wellness Fair vendors. Wellness Fair begins at 8 AM and will continue throughout the event. |
| Awards: |
5K run: 1st Place Overall Male and 1st Place Overall Female plus top three males and females in the following age groups: 11-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-65, and 65 Plus.
Kids Run: medals to the 1st place boy and 1st place girl plus participation (ribbon/medals)* to all.

| Free Kids Run: |
Registration is on-site only starting at 7:30AM. A parent or guardian must be present to sign the waiver. All Fun Run Participants will receive a participation medal. The winning girl and boy will receive a medal and prize during the awards ceremony. Don't forget your school or site could take home the Apple Eddie Participation Trophy or Plaque. |
