Each year, too many lives are lost to lung disease and this is your chance to walk, raise money and make an impact in their honor. By joining the Fight for Walk you are making the commitment to fight lung disease so everyone can breathe easier- including you!
Event Overview
Families, individuals and teams join together in a walk to raise awareness for the 35 million Americans who suffer from asthma. Participants work together to fundraise.
Please join the thousands of individuals across the nation who believe in the cause and will walk in their communities as well.
You can get involved by:
- Registering as a Team Captain
- Joining an existing Team as a new registrant
- Signing up as an individual registrant
- Sponsoring the event
- Joining the event planning committee
- Making a contribution supporting a registrant
Event Information
The event will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Registration will open at 7:15am. The Walk will start at 8.00 am.
Refreshments, entertainment and Health and Wellness Fair will be provided.
There will not be a packet pick-up for this event. Run and Walk participants will receive a bib on event day.
Special SeaWorld Day Ticket & Picnic Package - Only $40 (approx. $70 value)

Ticket Includes:
- All Day Park Admission to SeaWorld San Antonio - park opens 10:00 am
- 1 hour All You Can Eat Buffet 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm
Lunch is served at Ports of Call which has seven covered pavilions and private restroom facilities exclusive only to Event Participants. SeaWorld’s Executive Chef and Catering Department will prepare an unforgettable meal. - 12:30 pm – 1:00 pm
- Door prizes and giveaways, along with a special appearance by SHAMU.
- 1:00 pm – Park Closing
- Enjoy the many nighttime shows and attractions SeaWorld has to offer.
An $18.00 credit can be applied towards the purchase of a 2013 Annual Pass or Fun Card. Offer is valid to only with a paid picnic admission ticket and must be redeemed on the same day at the Passport Processing Center before exiting the park.
*Complimentary parking before 8:00 am for all those in attendance who are registered participants for the event. After 8.00 am the regular SeaWorld parking admission will be charged*
Registration Fees
Runners or Walkers age 15+: $35 registration fee, due at time of registration.
Runners or Walkers age 4-14: $20 registration fee, due at time of registration.
Children under the age of 4: Free to participate
RaceWalkers age 15+: $35 registration fee, due at time of registration
Awards
Medals will be given out post event to the top three overall finishers, male/female/youth.
The top Race walkers for Male and Female will also be recognized.

Fundraising
We encourage you to fund raise at least $100 toward the cause. This is easier than you think! It is as easy as asking 10 friends for $10. Our Special Events Staff is here to help you with fun and creative fundraising ideas as well as weekly coaching emails to ensure your fundraising success.
