About
Description:

Culinaria is a world-class experience that truly reflects the confluence of culture found in San Antonio. The mission of Culinaria is to promote San Antonio as a premier destination for wine and food while fostering community growth and enrichment. In keeping with the community’s focus on a healthy balance between eating and exercise, we added the 5K Wine & Beer Run in 2011. Not only does this event capitalize on the running boom we are experiencing in Texas, but it also specifically speaks to the lifestyle of our fitness minded demographic who work out in order to enjoy fine food and wine.

About the Race:

Participants run or walk through and around the mall while enjoying the view of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. This, alone, captures the attention of so many runners that are used to exercising on the typical streets and sidewalks of the city.

If that was not enough to entice you, maybe having a post-race reception will be. Imagine, once you cross the finish line, you are greeted by the sights and sounds of celebration. The reception takes place immediately following the race and includes dishes prepared by some of San Antonio’s own chefs, along with wine, beer, entertainment, and the awards ceremony.
