The purpose of this event is to increase awareness of oral cancer, celebrate survivorship, promote the importance of early detection & prevention, remember lost oned, and take part in a free oral cancer screening. All proceeds benefit The Oral Cancer Foundation.

The 2013 Oral Cancer Foundation Walk/Run for Awareness of San Antonio is approximately a 3 mile walk/run (5K) through the picturesqur San Antonio Hill Country and takes approximately 1 hour to complete at a leisurely pace.

All pre-registered participants before the 3/29/2013 deadline will receive a free t-shirt, to be picked up on the day of th event. Shirls will be on a first-come, first-serve basis on day of event if not pre-registered before 3/29/2013.

Create a TEAM of co-workers, family, friends or neighbors and come supportd the battle against Oral Cancer!

Early online pre-registration is $25 per adult walker, $30 per adult runner, children ages 6-10. Children ages 5 and under are free. On the day of the event registration fees are $30 per adult waler and $35 per adult runner. 

Oral Cancer Survivors are Free and receive a special survivor shirt.

To encourage individual fundraising, OCF will be giving away an iPad 3 to the walker who raises over $2000. Prize to be sent directly from OCF. Other prizes will be awarded on walk day. Register and create your personal fundraising page and start collectiong donations from family and friends!
