Cave Bear Course- Designed for the beginner. The race starts 600ft inside the belly of the cave. Start one at a time every 5-10 second. RUn through and then out of the cavern and then onto a two-mile run on groomed gravel base roads. the 15.5 mile ride will be in the beautiful Texas Hill Country on lightly travelled roads. Finish the race with a two-mile run on the same gravel road.
Wholly Mammoth Course- An Intermediate distance for those who want a challenge. The race starts 600ft inside the belly of the cave. Start one at a time every 5-10 second, run through and then out of the cavern and then onto a 3.1 mile run on groomed gravel base roads. The 26 mile ride will be in the beautiful Texas Hill Country on lightly travelled roads. This race features Kruegar Canyon HIlls. Finish the race with a 3.1 mile run on the same gravel road.
Sabertooth Course- This race is an Off-Road race that will through the Kill Country on every kind of terrain. The race starts 600ft inside the belly of the cave. Start one at a time every 5-10 seconds, run through and then out of the cavern and then onto a two-mile run on groomed gravel base roads. Ride 12 miles of Off-Road traisl and then finish the race with a two-mile run on the same gravel road.
T-REX Course- This race is considered THE SHOW as it will test event the strongest athlete. The race starts 600ft inside the belly of the cave. Start one at a time every 5-10 seconds. Run through and then out of the cavern and then onto a five-mile run on groomed gravel base roads. The five-mile run featured an 1/2 mile descend nad then a 1/2 mile ascent at the turnaround point. The 26-mile ride will be in the beautiful Texas Hill Country on lightly travelled roads. This race features Kruegar Canyon Hill. Finish the race with the same challenging five-mile run.
Athletes must bring their Photo ID and USAT membership card to Packet Pick-up. If you don't have an annual membership you must purchase a $2.00 day pass when you sign up online or at packet pick-up.
