This is a 1-Mile walk/ 5K run benefiting the National Marfan Foundation (NMF). All proceeds generated by this event will provide medical scholarships for families, particularly those with children affected by Marfan syndrome, to attend the 2013 National Conference. Sarah is a previous scholarship recipient and the knowledge gained at the conference has been an invaluable help to her health care management. Strides for Sarah began in 2009 formulating from an unrelenting idea from God in response to a struggle to accept and cope with the fact that our 3-year old has Marfan syndrome. The lack of knowledge and the subsequential search for knowledge was overwhelming until we found the NMF, which assists persons, families, friends and the medical community working with and affected by the syndrome.
Event Fees:
1 Mile Walk - Ages 6 and up.......$20, $25 at packet pick-up and on race day
5K Run - Ages 6 and up.........$30, $40 at packet pick-up and on race day
1-Mile-Walk - Ages 0-5........Free
5K Run - Ages 0-5.........Free
Optional Shirt for children - Ages 0-5.....$10
Morgan's wonderland is giving vouchers for discounted admission for all registrants to be used on race day or through 12/31/12.

Results for overall winners will be based on gun time and age group results will be based on chip time.

Overall 1st place male and female, top 3 (male and female) in each age group:
6-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65+
After the Event:
Participants are welcome to stay and enjoy the day at Morgan’s Wonderland. The park opens
at 10 AM on race day.
