About The 10K Jalpeno Del Sol Trail Run
Start at 8am and Finish with post race party/awards at McAllister Park, Pavillion 3, 13102 Jones Maltsberger Rd Maltsberger, San Antonio, TX 78247. The course for this chip timed race runs through heavily wooded, shady, dirt trails. Almost the entire race will be in the shade of oak trees. The trails can be very rocky and uneven in places, as well as low branches so paying attention is critical. Trails will be marked with flour on the ground, orange tape and directional arrow signs. All runners will recieve post race breakfast tacos, Zorrel tech shirt in men’s and women’s sizes, refreshments, and cerveza (for those of age), as part of your entry. Age group and overall awards will be given in 5 yr increments.
RGR Kid’s 1K Trail Run
The kiddos can get their sweat on with the Kid’s 1K which will start immediately after the 10K. It will be on trail and a little bit of pavement. Kids get a ribbon, a shirt, food and juice.
Entry Fees
10K $40 through 7-28-10, $50 through 8-14-10, $60 after that and $65 on race day. Kid’s 1K $15 through 7-28-10, $20 through 8-14-10, $25 after that. Military/Fire/Police receive a $5 discount via mail in and race day entry only.
