The event honors Clay Madsen and the Clay madsen Recreation Center which strives to be a safe place where children and adults can learn the leadership and sportmanship qualities that Clay upheld in his life which was ended by cancer. The first 350 entrants will receive a 5K for Clay dryfit runners shirt.
The run/walk begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 on a looped course that starts and finishes at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center.
There will be two aid stations on the course. Course aid stations will supply water and sports drink and refreshments for our participants before and after the race.
The first 350 entrants will receive a 5K for Clay dryfit runners shirt. Medallions are awarded tothe top overall male/female as well as male/female 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each age division.
The awards presentation will begin approximately 45 minutes after the start of the race. The course will remain open even though the awards presentation has begun.
