The Palmer Nicklaus Foundation is hosting a competitive 5K Run immediately followed by a taco throwdown competition.
This is a family centric event and you can expect to have a fun filled day with outdoor games, a bouncy house for kids, food samplings from local chefs, and of course a taco competition. These festivities will begin immediately after the 5K run, so we encourage runners to stick around! Everyone participating in the 5K will receive a free t-shirt, a post-run taco, and a 25% discount for a float with Rockin R River Rides.
The Palmer Nicklaus Foundation will be partnering with the Ronald McDonald House Charities in Austin to provide meals to the families in the hospital fighting alongside their children. We will donate prepared meals to the Ronald McDonald House where they will distribute the meals in house as well as the surrounding Austin hospitals. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly towards funding this mission, as well as our overall mission.
