Our son Colsyn was diagnosed with Alopecia on Sept 8, 2021 at 10 months of age. As parents of a child living with Alopecia Areata, we are fully aware of the devastating psychological impact Alopecia has on the individual and families that it affects. There is currently no cure and we are committed to helping bring awareness, treatment research and support for those who suffer from this mysterious disease that has dramatically impacted our family as well as many others.
This 5K run on November 6th will help raise awareness and funds for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF). We want every person suffering with Alopecia to know they are courageous and so dearly loved, hence the name, Bold and Beloved. All proceeds from this event will be donated to the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.
