Front Porch Days Races will be virtual this year.
If you have signed up for the Front Porch Days Races presented by The Green at Plum Creek, you will earn a first-of-its-kind finisher medal inspired by the Front Porch Days logo when you complete your race virtually! Half marathoners will earn the Front Porch Days medal and the Plum Crazy Half medal. Participants who order a shirt will receive this year’s shirt commemorating our special virtual events: Best Pie Appearance, Live Music, Geocaching, Best Front Porch, and Virtual Races!
You can do your race anywhere you would like, however, we will be marking the courses if you would like to come to Plum Creek to complete your race.
Normally, FPD races start and finish at Negley Elementary. For this year we will start and finish at the dog park, as we normally would for Hootenanny on the Hill. To get to the dog park, you will head to the intersection of Fairway and Haupt. If you plan to drive, please park along the streets, but not in front of mailboxes or driveways.
Beginning May 9, four racecourses will be marked with chalk: 3K, 5K, 10K, and Half. Come anytime during the day or the week! Remember, there will not be volunteers or water stations so please use caution and come prepared to handle your own hydration and refueling needs.
On May 16, from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m., there will be a couple of Rec Committee volunteers on-site, set up across the street from the dog park. You will need to use caution as there will not be volunteers or water stations on the course. Come prepared to handle your own hydration and refueling needs during your race. When you finish, you will have two people cheering you on and we will have some simple refueling items bagged that you can take with you. We will leave at 11:00 a.m., but you are welcome to stay out on the course to finish your race. There will be limited access to restrooms and access to a touchless bottle filler next to the restrooms.
Sign up at fpdraces.com today and log your miles by 11:59 PM on May 16. Shirts and medals will be ordered at the conclusion of the event and an in-person packet pickup will be scheduled as soon as it is safe to do so. It is estimated it will take 4-6 weeks for all packet items to get to us. We appreciate your patience!

Note: If you already registered for the 10K, 5K, 3K, your registration is set as is, no price change needed. 1K and Sleepwalker require no price change either and both divisions will each receive a Front Porch Days shirt. If you registered for the Half, you will receive a refund of the difference of what you paid minus the new price.
