Spring Fundraiser for Negley Elementary! Bring the whole family - there's a distance for everyone! This event is part of the Plum Creek Challenge Online Registration Closes 3/4/2015. Hard copy form available here. Bring your form to Early Packet Pickup or Race Day Morning, if it is after 3/4/2015. Walk up Registrations are accepted until 20 minutes before race start time.

Packet Pickup Early Packet Pickup will be on Friday, 3/6, from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m., in the Lobby of Negley Elementary, 5940 McNaughton. We are not able to set up the packet pickup until after all students have been released. If you arrive before 3:30, please be patient (or help set up)!
Packet Pickup is also available on Race Day morning, in the Lobby beginning at 7:00 a.m.

Day of Race Start and Finish for all 3 races is at 5940 McNaughton, Kyle Tx 78640 If you haven't been to Plum Creek before, turn in on Witte and drive all the way down the hill until it T's into McNaughton - you'll see us there... Prepare for the weather! Check the temps before you come and dress for your best race. CARPOOL if you can, or walk if you live in Plum Creek. We have almost 500 participants, 40 volunteers, and spectators. Plan to park behind the school, in the Rocking Horse lot, or the lot in front of the school. Please do not park along McNaughton as this will be part of all four race courses. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE of neighbors. You can park behind the school on Sampson, Mather, or Fairway. Look at a map of the area BEFORE you come! On-site packet pickup and late registration, in the lobby at the front of the school - ends for 5K at 7:40, ends for 3K/1K at 9:15 a.m. There are restrooms in the school. 5K - be in the chute by 7:40 for a great warm up by Camp Gladiator! 5K race starts at 8:00 a.m. sharp! 5K water stations: Mile 1 and 2 3K race will start on the street in front of the school at 9:30 (this will be announced). Water station: approximately Mile 1 1K race will start at the 5K starting line after the 3K makes the first turn (this will be announced) Refueling will include water and fruit -- and some treats! Wifi credentials for Hays CISD are: login: haysguest and password: hays2012 -- take pictures and share! We will try to do 5K awards before we begin the 3K/1K. Please be patient if we are not able to do this! 3kers and 1kers under 11 will receive a finisher award. Check in begins at 7:00AM 5K awards by grade level, K-5, male and female, 3 deep 5K awards 11-15, then 5 year age brackets to 60 and above, male and female, 3 deep All 10 and under participants of 5K, 3K, and 1K will receive a special token for completion! |
