The Rotary Clubs of Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Killeen, Killeen Evening and Killeen Heights are joining together this year to raise funds for youth oriented, local projects with our Monster Dash 5K walk/run, and 5K team (four person) competition. There will be a costume contest (free) and a 1/3 mile Little Monster Dash ($5) for children 10 years old and under. All proceeds from this event will be used by the Rotary Clubs for local projects such as scholarships, vocational grants, youth character education programs (Early Act First Knight), school supplies for needy children and many others. Costumes, especially for the Little Monster Dash, are encouraged. This is a sanctioned race of the Cen-Tex race series.
