The Harker Heights Public Library Race to Read 5K & 10K Fu nRun/Walk and Kids 1K is a great competitive and family event supporting local early literacy initiatives. Awards will be given to the overall male and female and top three winners in each age group. Children who participate in the Kids' 1K will receive a medal and a FREE BOOK! The race will start at the Harker Heights Community Park. We will also have tons of fun activities for kids of all ages!
The cost of the 5K is $20 until June 26th and $25 after the 26th . The Kids 1K is free. Registrants will begin in April! All proceeds from this race will go to local literacy initiatices!
