The purpose of the Dresses for Dreams Global 5K is to raise funds for the girl empowerment initiatives of Fields of Dreams Uganda. These initiatives serve over 3,000 students and teachers at our nine partner schools across Uganda. Funds assist with school fees, character development workshops, hygiene kits, changing rooms, soccer training, coaching, and equipment, technology training and equipment, travel opportunities, and youth council activities for the female population across our partner schools. The event is family friendly and includes an authentic Ugandan market full of handmade goods. Walk, run, or sign up as a “satellite/virtual” runner, and support in your own way on race day!
