~~Please show your support and join the collaboration of FSS, 32d Medical Brigade and the JBSA SAPR and SHARP programs to kick off the 3rd Annual Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month (SAAPM) 5K COLOR Run/Walk.
The goal of SAAPM is to raise public awareness about sexual violence and to educate communities on how to prevent it. Teal is the official color of SAAPM, and the teal ribbon is the symbol of sexual violence prevention so this year’s race theme is “Paint the Post Teal!”

*This race is free and open to all DoD and dependent ID cardholders.
*Strollers and furry friends are welcome; sorry no bikes or other motorized items.
*The first 400 (+200 youth) to register via this site will receive a SAAPM Swag Bag, T-Shirt, Chip Timing, Color Run Glasses and personal bag of color. ALL OTHERS WILL BE "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST"

Schedule:

 

"UPDATE: Packet pick-up will be Thursday and Friday from 9am-4pm at 32d Medical Brigade. 2851 Harney Path, Bldg 902 (Wagner Hall) on Fort Sam Houston, 78234 (look for the teal flags surrounding the building). Across the street from Harlequin Dinner theater. All registrants will receive bib with chip timing and safety glasses. **Those who registered March 25 or sooner will receive a SAAPM swag bag. DISCLAIMER: Because this race is free and all t-shirts were donated, you may or may not receive the size shirt you requested. All youth registrants will receive a youth shirt. *Those who registered after 3/25 should wear their own white t-shirt. This race will go on rain or shine. In the event of lighting within 5 miles of Fort Sam Houston the race will postpone to 0930. Race announcements begin at 0840; race begins at 0900. Thank you for supporting Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month (SAAPM).

T-Shirt:

Race shirts and other materials will be provided for the first 400 registrants (+200 youth)! ALL OTHERS WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!

T-Shirt sizes are unisex and decided by the size marked on your registration entry. No trades or exchanges, please.

Medical Waiver: All participants must present a signed waiver prior to participating.  You may also sign your medical waiver on the day of registration.  If registering online your medical waiver will automatically be recorded.
Awards: Top 3 Male and Female Finishers. Top 3 Under 17.
