Athlete Guild will provide chip timing for the 5K.  Athlete Guild uses state-of-the art timing equipment including a disposable timing chip attached to your running bib.  Since your timing chip is attached to your race bib, you will not be asked to stand in a long line the morning of the event waiting for someone to hand you a shoe chip.  You will also not be chased down after the event by volunteers trying to cut-off your shoe chip.  Athlete Guild hires local people who live and work in the community.
