About this Event
MYTeam Triumph was started in April 2014 after Michelle and Rusty Jones attended the Biggest loser 5K in Austin pushing Captain Charlie in his standard wheel chair. While at the race they ran into MTT:Ainsley’s Angels of South East Texas and through that the South Texas Chapter was formed. Over 11 months we grew to 39 Captains and 186 Angels and continue to welcome new athletes into the Chapter. This 5K/2M event is a fund raiser for our Chapter.

Time: 5:30 pm (Evening event)
Location: Heritage Park, 1581 N. Chaparal Street, Corpus Christ, TX 78401. Heritage Park is located in the downtown area of Corpus Christi near the American Bank Center.
Parking: Free parking is available in the area along City streets.

Post Event:
Free food, drink and music for registered participants. Other charitable organizations will be participating in the after event festival. Please plan to stay for the awards and visit with these other organizations.

Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters (40+) Male and Female, Overall Grand Masters (60+) Male and Female plus Age Group Awards
2Mile Walk
1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Male and 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Female (You must walk the entire course, NO Running). No Age Group Awards for 2Mile Walk.
Age Groups: (5K Only)
(6 to 9), (10 to 14), (15 to 19), (20 to 29), (30 to 39), (40 to 49), (50 to 59), (60 to 69), (70+)
Custom Visor:
You must register by Monday, August 24, 2015 to be guaranteed a visor. Registrations after August 24 MAY receive a visor. Please register early.
Packet Pickup:
Friday, September 4, 2015. The time and location for Packet Pickup will be announced soon.
Timing:
Pendgo Timing working with Athlete Guild will provide timing services to both the 2Mile Walk and the 5K Run-Walk-Roll. Pendgo Timing is now working with Athlete Guild to provide expanded services for events in the South Texas area. You will be issued a patented disposable timing chip that is attached to you race bib. The race bib and timing chip are yours to keep.
Charity Message:
We would like to share the joy of crossing the finish line with as many disabled Texan’s as possible by providing the required equipment and by coordinating events. We believe in spreading the mission of Inclusion all over the state.
