Six Runners/One Team Only!
The Beach to Bay Relay Marathon is a Six-Person Relay Running Event. Teams must consist of six (6) runners. Each runner will run on only one (1) team and will run one (1) leg only for that team. No one can run on two (2) teams at any time. (No one can run an additional leg for any team, in this instance you and your team will be disqualified) All members of each team eligible for awards are subject to verification by race officials prior to the awards ceremony.
The race director and or race official may disqualify anyone for cheating or not adhering to these rules.
PACKET PICKUP LOCATION:
The 40th Running of the Beach to Bay Relay Marathon’s Registration and Packet Pickup will be held at the Congressman Solomon P. Ortiz Center located at 402 Harbor Dr. Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.

MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS EARLY!
The Emerald Cove, Omni Bayfront and Holiday Inn Marina are offering a complimentary (2) two-night stay during the Beach to Bay Relay Marathon. To be eligible for the drawing you must make a room reservation at the Emerald Cove, Holiday Inn Marina or Omni Bayfront Hotel and submit you race application in by March 31, 2015. The winner will be notified prior to arrival. Good Luck!
SECURITY MEASURES
The 40th Annual Beach to Bay Relay Marathon will have added security measures provided by the Corpus Christi Police Department, Nueces County Sheriff’s Office, Nueces County Constable’s Office, Federal Partners Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to create a safer environment for our runners ,spectators and volunteers. One major change concerning security will be at the finish line and McCaughan Park. Anyone that enters the park will do so by entering a security fence. All bags, backpacks and coolers will be search.

BIKE FRIENDLY LEGS!
The first and second leg runners can ride their bicycles to the start. Their bike will be checked in and guarded until they reclaim them. The first runner will be able to walk back to their bikes. The second leg runners will be provided a ride back to the start by van. The van will keep making trips as needed. The 6th leg runners will be able to ride their bicycles to their starting destination.
