About

Join us for the 2nd Annual sMiles 4 Sammy Family Fun Run & 5K on Saturday, June 1st!

This year join us to run, jog, walk or stroll to help raise money for two very important causes in our community. Half of the proceeds will be donated to the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation for the future Williamson County All Ability Baseball Field fund for children with special needs. The other half of the proceeds will be used to support and encourage families of midcally fragile children in our Central Texas community through our sMiles 4 Families Program.

This year's 5K will be a chip timed race that starts and ends on the Vista Ridge High School campus. Youngsters (or the young at heart) are invited to participate in the 1K Ranger Trek with the Ranger athletes following the 5K! The Ranger trek will take place on the Vista RIdge track. Come have some family fun and help us to raise money for some great causes!

This race is held annually in memory of Samantha Scott. She lived for 10 months with trisomy 18, a condition considered incompatible with life. Sammy defied the odds every step of the wat and taught everyone around her that each day is a gift and that you don't jave to be old or famous to make a difference.

Let's make a difference in our community together!
