PURPOSE
The Race to the Pantry is a fundraiser for the Community Resource and Recreation Center (CRRC) food pantry located in Canyon Lake, Texas. In 2020 3,482 households were provided food assistance to a total of 8,403 individuals which constitutes 27% of the Canyon Lake population of 31,124. Since COVID-19, $196,812 of financial assistance has also been provided for rent/mortgage expenses along with electricity, water and propane.
ABOUT
This is the 6th Annual Race to the Pantry and due to COVID-19 converns in order to keep everyone as safe as possible, we will conduct the event this year virtually.,
Our virtual event can be run or walked at your convenience anytime between December 11th and December 18th. Participants can complete their chosen distance anywhere you choose; on a track, on trails, a treadmill or at your local fitness center chosing the degree of difficulty that fits your personal fitness level.
