The 5k and 10k race kicks off the beginning of the annual Royalty Pecan Farms Harvest Festival. The trail takes participants through parts of the 500 acre pecan orchard, offering a unique and challenging course. Royalty Pecan Farms is located on Texas Highway 21 between Bryan/College Station and Caldwell, just one mile west of the Brazos River.
PLEASE NOTE: this course is a true trail run and will be on varying types of ground including grass and dirt with the possibility of muddy areas.
7:00 am: Registration and packet pickup opens
7:30 am: 10k starts
8:00 am: 5k starts
9:00 am: All races conclude

Awards will be given to the top three winners of each age category. Age category winners are based on chip time within the official results.

Can I get a refund?
No, all ticket sales are final for the race. You are also welcome to come out and enjoy the event, even if you are not able to compete.
Can I bring strollers on the trail?
We do not recommend taking strollers on the course because the terrain is unpredictable. If you choose to bring a stroller we ask that you start towards the back to ensure the safety of you and the other participants.
Can I bring my dog?
No, for safety of all runners we ask that no animals are brought to the race, not including service animals.
Will the race be canceled if it rains?
The race will continue as scheduled in the event of rain. We will monitor the weather closely leading up to the day and postpone or cancel the race if the weather is too dangerous to ensure the safety of all race participants.
Where do I park?
Parking for the race is located at the front of the Royalty Pecan Farms property.
Handicap parking is available in the paved lot connected to the gift shop.
Can I walk the race?
Yes, you do not have to run in order to participate. If you are planning to walk the course we ask that you start towards the back for your safety and for the safety of those running.
How many water stations?
There is one water station for the 5K course and two for the 10K course. Each station is clearly marked with volunteers waiting to assist you.
Will there be a first aid station?
Yes, a medic tent will be located by the start/finish line for your convenience.
Can I change which race I am running?
If you would like to change the race you are signed up for please contact the event manager at events@royaltypecans.com or call (979) 272-3904.
Will there be restrooms on the course?
Yes, there will be a bathroom for both the 5k and 10k courses.
