Join us for the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance 5K Bluebonnet Fun Run and Kids 1K Race will be chip timed Bring your friends, bring your family, kids in strollers, dogs on leashes!! Walk, Run, Skip, Hop or Jump to the finish line!! Start your day of Bluebonnet Festival fun with the Texas Farm Bureua 5K Bluebonnet Fun Run. The popular, invigorating run caters to both the experienced runner and first-time runners as well. Race activities will begin at 7:45 on the north side of the square by the main stage, and the 5k will start promptly at 8:15 a.m. Runners will go around the historic square, and then continue through the scenic streets of Burnet and surrounding countryside. This years race will feature a KIDS K as well. The Kids K will start at 8:00 and will include special treats and activities for all kids. Each runner will receive an official t-shirt from the event. |
