Description:	This race supports genocide survivors and HIV positive women and their children in Rwanda through Africa New Life Ministries by raising funds and awareness. All proceeds benefit the Africa New Life Family Center in Kigali, Rwanda empowering women and their children by providing hope, vocational training and a Dream Daycare Center, a place where children are given a nutritious meal and a clean, safe place to play, learn and dream while their mothers are in training. ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES TODAY AT 6:00 PM - ARRIVE AT 7:30 AM TO REGISTER ON RACE DAY.

Entry Fees:	5K Individual $25.00 Individual $35.00 Race Day Family $70.00 per family (Family consists of you, your spouse and your children. Two t-shirts are included in the family entry). Participants will receive a cool Race for Rwanda T-Shirt. Must register by March 19th to be GUARANTEED a t-shirt size.

Awards:	This will be a chip-timed race. Awards will be given to top barefoot runner, top water carry team, top overall male and female, as well as to top male and female in age group categories.
Barefoot Division:	To raise awareness to the fact that many people in Rwanda are without shoes, this race includes a Barefoot Division. Experienced barefoot runners may register in the Barefoot Division and compete against others running the entire race without shoes or foot covering of any kind.
Water Carry Division:	To raise awareness to the fact that it is commonplace for women and children in Rwanda to journey a 5K or more each day on foot fetching 5 gallons of water for their family, this race includes a distinctive Water Carry Division. Teams of 1 or more participants may work together to experience lugging 5 gallons of water for approximately 3 miles. Your team may carry the water in any manner you choose, however no rolling or wheeled devices are allowed.
Additional:	Refreshments will be provided at the finish Line. STICK AROUND for our raffle at 9:30 AM Photographers, Emcee News Personality Itza Gutierrez, DJ and booths offering Rwandan and other goods will be present.
