9:15 a.m. - 5K Start
**ALL Runners are REQUIRED to wear their official race bib AND race entry bracelet in order to enter the zoo portion of the route. Runners without a bib AND bracelet will be stopped from entering the zoo thru the event gate. Race bibs and race entry bracelet will be distributed at packet pick-up. Both the 1 Mile and 5K Run are point-to-point runs and will finish inside Gladys Porter Zoo.

Ocelot Conservation Festival & Finish Line
FINISHER MEDAL: Both the 1 Mile and 5K Run will FINISH inside Gladys Porter Zoo at the Ocelot Conservation Festival. ALL registered runners with both an event race bib AND race entry bracelet will receive a custom finisher medal. ONLY 1 medal per runner and must cross the finish line to receive.
No medals will be mailed. No exceptions. (THIS IS A NON-TIMED EVENT)
OCELOT CONSERVATION FESTIVAL: The Ocelot Conservation Festival is an annual festival hosted by the Friends of Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. The Cincinnati Zoo brings Sihil, a beautiful ocelot that does a great job of displaying the species' agility and strength in several programs held during the one-day festival. In addition to the ocelot show, there are many other exciting and educational programs.
