The Historic Brownsville International Half-Marathon & Relay marks the beginning of the Fall racing season for all of South Texas. Runners will enjoy a USATF certified course dotted with picturesque resacas and many of the city’s most treasured landmarks within Brownsville’s Historic District. With a field of expected international runners from around the country and Mexico, combined with South Texas’ strong running communities, the event is destined to become a premiere destination race.

Timing:
Pendgo Timing will chip time the Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay using the Jaguar System. Participants in the Half Marathon will be issue a disposable timing chip attached to their race bib. Participants in the Half Marathon Relay Marathon will be issued a relay baton with a timing chip located inside the baton. Participants in the Relay Marathon must hand off the baton to the next participant in the Half Marathon.
