Austin’s oldest annual race, the Statesman Cap10K will be celebrating its 39th running on Sunday, April 10, 2016. Come
see why this is Austin’s Rite of Spring event for runners and walkers of all ages. Featuring a majestic start on the
Congress Avenue Bridge stretching over Town Lake, the course travels into downtown Austin and around the historic
Texas State Capitol. Live music along the course from local artists keeps rhythm with the thousands of footsteps winding
through historic Austin neighborhoods. Join us at the Auditorium Shores Finish Line Festival on the banks of the Colorado
River where food trucks, beer garden, live music, kids zone and race vendors celebrate your finish.
