The Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) Chapter 1075 is hosting its inaugural POW/MIA 5K. The events are scheduled Saturday, 9 September at JBSA-Randolph Heritage Park.
The POW/MIA / FREE 5K run/walk to memorialize America's Prisoners of War as well as those who are still Missing in Action. The race will be held at the Heritage Park on Randolph AFB. Along the trail will be posters and information educating the runners about past POW/MIA's so we may tell their stories and ensure that they may never be forgotten. will also be available for after race refreshments. Check in/Patch Pickup/pre-brief will be at 0630 and the race will begin at 0700*. All ages are welcome. Strollers and pets are also allowed.
