CELEBRATE Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the 11th Annual Dia de los Muertos 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run at Hernandez Elementary School on 333 Stagecoach Trail in San Marcos. This 5K celebrates an annual holiday observed around the world by many cultures. The Dia de los Muertos 5K event proceeds will be allocated to the Johnnie T. Rosales Memorial Scholarship (http://johnniejam.org), 501C3 nonprofit organization which awards annual scholarships awards to selected San Marcos High School graduation seniors.

Sponsor a MEMORY BOARD for display at the race in honor of a loved one who has passed, or place their name and photo on this year's Day of the Dead altar.

*Race will be held rain or shine, however in the event of natural disaster/extreme weather conditions, race will be canceled and no refunds issued. All attempts will be made to distribute runner tees & swag bags to participants.
