The Thrive for 5k walk/run is FREE and is open to all VIA employees, retirees, and family
members. All registered participants will receive a FREE* Thrive for 5K T-shirt.
Event is open to runners and walkers. Register by March 3, 2024 to receive a Thrive for 5k t-shirt prior to the event.
*T-shirt is free for those who participate in the 5K event. Employees and family
members who register and do not participate in the 5K will incur a $5.00 fee for each
T-shirt received. Fees will be payroll deducted from the employee’s paycheck after the
5K. It is the responsibility of the participant to register a completion time at the 5K
event in order to verify their participation.

Event packets, numbers, and timing chips can be picked up Wednesday, April 10th from 12PM – 3PM in front of the THRIVE Fitness Center at the VMC and Thursday April 11th from 10AM – 12:30PM in front of THRIVE Fitness Center at VTOC. Employees can pick-up packets for any registered family members. Packet pick-up will also be available before the start of the 5K, April 13th from 7AM-7:45AM at Lady Bird Johnson Park.
