After the successful debut of the inaugural event in 2023, we are proud to launch a bigger and better version of this race for 2024. More team categories, more awards, more runners, and a twist...the course will be flipped from 2023.
In celebration of the great Howard Peak Greenway System, you and your team can cover 26.2 miles of this beautiful, scenic, shaded course that explores the many parks along the Leon and Salado creeks at the edge of the Texas Hill Country in San Antonio. You can have a minimum of 2 and up to 5 runners per team and there are several categories for you to compete against other teams. This is a point-to-point course and each leg of the marathon relay explores a different section of the Greenway trails. There are 5 Relay Legs and they range from 4 to 7 miles in length, so you will have to strategize on which of your runners to put on which leg.
