We are so excited to be able to host the event again here in San Antonio. This year we will be having a few different options for you to accomplish run via live 1.5 mile, 5k and a virtual 5k run that you can accomplish anywhere and submit your results on here.

Here is the a little bit more from the history of our event.
In, 2011 the Air Transportation Community experienced a tragic loss when one of our brothers was murdered, TSgt Curtis E. Eccleston. In 2013, the Port Dawgs at Kadena Air Base held a memorial run in honor of Curtis, which would spark an annual event held around the world across the entire career field. This is one of our traditions that continue to build strong comradery and reinforces the feeling of when you join this career field, you are joining a family. This event is an opportunity for each location to reflect on the incredible accomplishments that have been achieved over the last year and to place emphasis on the importance of mental, physical, spiritual, and social health. This event is traditionally held during National Defense Transportation Week (11-17 May 2024) but can scheduling is flexible to meet your mission demands first.
