Britta's Chase 5K

Goya Cares is your presenting sponsor for the first annual Britta's Chase 5K in the Wild - a race run entirely inside San Antonio’s award winning Zoo! This 5K launches the Meant to Soar Foundation. Serious runners grab serious cash! Walkers and joggers, enjoy animals in their morning routines! We will award unique Texas-shaped finisher medals, along with special medals for different age groups and the top three performers in both male and female categories. Britta's Chase is a unique event. Our entire 5K will be run in the zoo. Also, we are introducing a "cash chase challenge!" $100 bills will be handed out during the race at the 1, 2, and 3.1 (finish) mile markers to the male and female runners who are currently in the lead. Additionally, extra $100 bills will be given to each male who runs under 16 minutes and each female who runs under 19 minutes. Come have some fun while you chase down some cash!
