Floating Fitness Challenges at The Guadalupe Games

The fun doesn’t stop between heats. Throughout the day, athletes and spectators can jump into floating fitness challenges happening across the venue. These pop-up events are fast, fun, and easy to join—challenge your friends, test your fitness, and win prizes.

Featured challenges include:

💪 Max Dead Hang Challenge
Test your grip and upper-body endurance. Hang from the bar for maximum time with feet completely off the ground. Time stops the moment your feet touch. Call out up to three buddies and battle it out for bragging rights.

🔥 Pull-Up Challenge
How many can you do? Perform as many strict pull-ups as possible, starting from a full hang and finishing each rep with chin clearly above the bar. Clean reps only—no kipping.

🚣 2-Minute Row Challenge
Race a friend head-to-head or take it on solo. You’ll have 2 minutes to rack up as much distance as possible on the rower. Simple rules, all effort.

🛟 Guadalupe River Tube Race
Take the competition to the water. Race your tube through a marked river course using arms only—no kicking allowed. Fast, fun, and a guaranteed crowd favorite.

🏆 Prizes for Event Leaders
Prizes will be awarded to the leaders of each challenge throughout the day.

🎈 Kids Inflatable Fun Zone
A dedicated inflatable area for kids will be available all day—no competition, no pressure, just pure fun. A perfect spot for families to hang out while the action continues.

🔥 More challenges coming
Additional surprise competitions and pop-up challenges will be announced during the event.
Whether you’re competing, floating, or cheering from the riverbank, the floating challenges and family-friendly activities make The Guadalupe Games an all-day celebration of fitness, fun, and community.
