District 26 UIL Meet
District 26-3A Cross Country Coaches,
Thank you for allowing Gilbert Gerdes Jr. High and Luling High School to serve as host for the 2025 District 26 Cross Country Meet. The Cross Country District Meet is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
All entries are due Saturday, October 4, 2025. Please have the following form emailed to me:

Distance:
- Varsity & JV Girls, all middle school runners: 2 miles
- Varsity & JV Boys: 5K (3.1 miles)
Race Times:
Varsity Girls: 8:00 am
Varsity Boys: 8:30 am
JV Girls: 9:00 am
JV Boys: 9:30 am
8th Grade Girls: 4:00 PM
8th Grade Boys: 4:30 PM
7th Grade Girls: 5:00 pm
7th Grade Boys: 5:30 pm
**Every school is responsible for 1 adult course monitor for both morning and evening**
Awards:
- There will be a team plaque for the champion and runner up of every division
- Medals for the Top 10 in all divisions
- Medals to the 7 members of the Top 3 Regional qualifying teams in the Varsity division.
- Top 10 Varsity Finishers qualify for Regionals
***We will have an awards ceremony for all teams as soon as scoring is completed. Coaches will need to drive their athletes across the street to the Zedler Mill Parking Lot/Amphitheatre after all races have finished for the morning and afternoon sessions.***

Reminders:
- Please bring your own water. We will have some water at the finish line courtesy of our trainers.
- Trainers will be on site.
- Please park buses on the left side upon entering the park. Spectators and other school vehicles will park to the right. We will have plenty of room to park!
- Portapotties will be on site.
