| Description: | The 3rd annual Texas Tough Duathlon takes place at the peak of autumn in the Texas Hill Country. This race is a challenging run, ride, run duathlon and serves as the 2016 State Duathlon Championships as well! With the best post-race food, refreshments, and always free racer photos, this has become the premier multisport event in Texas! New this year are our Finisher's Mugs, because you have too many medals at this point! The 5k starts at the San Antonio Rose Palace and loops out into the beautiful hills of northwest San Antonio. The 21 Mile road ride will be on a hilly out & back course, heading up Toutant Beauregard and turning onto Dodge Rd. The race will be on well-maintained roads, and rider support will also be provided. |
