The Texas Senior Games, coordinated by the Barshop Jewish Community Center, are a group of spirited competitions whereby senior athletes compete in more than twenty different sports categories, ranging from Pickleball to tennis, track and volleyball, and more. Athletes, including men and women ages fifty and over (by December 31st of the Games year), compete in five-year age increments. Gold, silver, and bronze medals are awarded in each category.
